Are you ready for the change in sick leave?
Parliament has passed the Holidays (Increasing Sick Leave) Amendment Bill to increase the minimum employee sick leave entitlement.
As of the 24th July 2021, employees get an extra five days when they reach their next entitlement – the maximum amount of unused sick leave will remain at 20 days. Employees who already get 10 or more sick days a year will not be affected by this change.
